standing with an iced tea
on the back porch
it entered into the shadowy sky
with it's sheer force
unseen for decades
it swallowed the night
soaring above the quarter-moon
a passage back in time
sobered into silence
for a moment
I felt displaced in time
then it slipped off
soft as a kiss
never to return
